Hi there! I am Kristina Michelle Dekraker and I own Kristina Michelle Studios. I am excited to share a little more about myself!
I am a special needs mama, a wife, a photographer, a small business owner, a creative and a lover of Jesus! Say that 5 times fast!
I LOVE what I do. I get to connect with new people all the time and I love the lasting impression I get to and CAN make on someone's life. The last few years I have been working on my business to better align my passions, goals and purpose all in one. In result, I have created a brand that helps me make a difference in others lives as I focus on empowerment, self-healing, self-growth and growth in faith.
I have had many of my own hard life experiences and every moment of it brought me closer to Jesus as I worked to heal my body mind and soul. My life experiences and vulnerable approach help me truly connect with clients and help make a difference in their lives.

My Story
So, KMStudios Creations was founded from their mother company Kristina Michelle Studios. I am a professional photographer as well as a creative and Kristina Michelle Studios is the name of my studio. Ill get more into that shortly.
I have been on quite a journey the last 5 years of my life that has ultimately lead to amazing growth in my spiritual life and brought me so much closer to Jesus. I currently have a 10 year old who is on the autism spectrum who is my whole world! I am also married and my husband had a tragic accident 4 year ago that ended in a terrible TBI and stroke in his brain stem. He has regained so much of his life and come a far way but the first 2 years of his recovery were very scary. I was his full time caretaker at one point in time putting my business and my life on hold to care for him and push in his recovery and still to this day aid in certain activities as a caretaker. I am sure you are currently thinking about how hard that must have been, and let me tell you, it was indeed truly difficult and we all learned many lessons in the last 4 years! I will openly say we still have struggles as a family and within my marriage from the major changes that have taken place. My husband still has struggles to this day and although he is back to work, it is unclear if things will stay that way and what direction recovery will take him as the years progress. Through all of this shadowed time in my life however, I leaned into my faith 100% giving it all to God and I have become a much stronger and confident person from it.
I like to use my past traumas as a child and young adult plus the more recent ones to really help me connect with clients I meet and work with. I work with a lot of women particularly in my photography business and I absolutely LOVE what I do. It is so encouraging and empowering even just for myself to see changes others are making in their lives. I pride myself in being an open book and always okay with being 100% vulnerable even with strangers i barely know because my work I do is important and I want every one of my clients to feel comfortable and safe while working with me!
